Following a recent visit to the Isle of Wight, one bingo fan bought a lucky charm as a souvenir, reports National Bingo.
And the talisman lived up to his name as he subsequently won a £20,000 national bingo jackpot.
"I also had it with me when I played bingo the following night and won another £20," he told the game operator.
The 53-year-old Ipswich man saw his numbers come up during the national game at his local Mecca club.
Although he told National Bingo he has been playing twice a week for 15 years, it took the lucky charm to secure his first big win.
He is now to share the prize money with his wife and mother, he added.
Mecca Bingo members in Ipswich have been lucky on a number of previous occasions, claiming the £100,000 jackpot and three five-figure sums in recent years.
