A six-figure jackpot adds to the £20,000 claimed by a Wednesfield bingoer in July to complete a very special bingo double, it emerges.

For while the winners were different people, both are 76 years old and come from Cannock.

But the coincidence still came as a surprise to the latest winner, she told National Bingo.

"I was so excited when I was told how much I had won, that I knocked a cup of coffee all over the table.

"And I am still in shock," she revealed to the operating body.

The £100,000 jackpot was secured in just 38 calls as the lucky punter reached bingo in the fewest balls nationwide.

Wolverhampton has been a lucky area so far this year, with the six-figure sum scooped in January and again in March by local players.
