FRIENDS TO SHARE BINGO JACKPOT
04/09/2007The August 28th winner of the national bingo jackpot has her two friends to thank for persuading her to take up the game, reports National Bingo.
And they now stand to benefit as she is to share the £50,000 prize money with the pair.
Her numbers came up at the Gala Bingo club in Phoenix Park, Paisley, just over a year after joining, the game operator reveals.
"I didn't realise at first how much I had won and when I did I felt sick," the winner told National Bingo.
"The club asked me if I wanted a drink and I asked for a brandy - but I never ever drink."
A previous £33,000 jackpot went to a member of the Gala Bingo Paisley club, while the local Mecca Bingo hall was the destination for a £50,000 prize in March.
