HALL ERUPTS AT BINGO WIN
12/09/2007The 78-year-old winner of a recent Afternoon Delight game operated by National Bingo was not alone in being surprised by the victory.
For she told the game operator that "the whole bingo hall erupted when it was announced I had won".
She added: "I still have no idea what I'm going to do with the money, so I'll just sit on it until I've had a chance to take it all in."
A second player, in Liverpool, took an equal share of the £20,000 total on offer in the game after both reached bingo in 45 balls.
The East Kilbride winner adds to a list of previous victories at the club which includes a £100,000 jackpot in February, according to National Bingo.
