The £100,000 national bingo jackpot was claimed by a 79-year-old pensioner from Stafford, reports the game's operating body.
And while the win was "uncanny", the recipient explained it is the latest in a long line of previous successes.
"I have been quite lucky over the years with small amounts but my luck was certainly in then," she told National Bingo.
"I won £100 the week before then went to bingo the night after the big win and had another £300."
The win came at the Gala Bingo club in Queenville Retail Park, Stafford - where a number of six-figure sums have been claimed previously.
In the past year, these have included a £100,000 prize in September 2006 and a £200,000 sum in March 2007, according to National Bingo figures.
