The £100,000 national jackpot was claimed by a 79-year-old from Putney on September 9th, National Bingo reveals.
And while it was announced in the Mecca Bingo hall in Garratt Lane, Wandsworth, it took a day for the realisation to dawn on her.
"It took until the next day for me to realise how much I'd won," she told National Bingo.
"Everybody in the club was jumping up and down when my win was announced, but I just sat there in surprise."
And the prize has spurred her on to try even harder - increasing from her usual five times a week to play the game every day.
The prize suggests a return to form for the Wandsworth club following a £10,000 success in January - before which there were no big winners at the venue for over two years, according to the game operator.
