BIG N GETS BIG WINNER
01/10/2007Mecca Bingo Glasgow member Veronica Muir won the national jackpot to claim £22,500 on September 15th, reports National Bingo.
But that was not the limit of her prize - as matching six numbers on the new Big N competition added a further £44,917 to the total.
Ms Muir told the game operator of plans to escape to the sun in the run-up to Christmas - her first holiday since visiting relatives in Denmark 12 years ago.
"Just knowing that I don't have to worry about finding money to pay the next bill is the most wonderful feeling," she added.
"But other than that it's a bit too soon to think about what I'm going to do."
The Big'N runs alongside the regular National Bingo game and offers prizes of up to £1 million across silver, gold and platinum win levels.
