GOOD CHRISTMAS PLANNED FOR BINGO WINNER
09/10/2007A 56-year-old Sunderland player became a six-figure uk bingo winner, scooping a recent £100,000 jackpot, reports National Bingo.
But the prize proved painful as the recipient told the operating body that thinking about it gives her a headache.
"We will definitely be having a very good Christmas though," she revealed - adding that she intends to treat her family with some of the winnings.
Completing a full house in 41 calls led her to victory at the Mecca Bingo club in Holmeside.
And it is not the first time the six-figure sum has been awarded to a member of Mecca Bingo in Sunderland.
The £100,000 jackpot was also won in August 2005, while Gala Bingo members in the city have also claimed a prize of that amount and one of £96,142, according to National Bingo figures.
