BINGO HAT TRICK FOR BURY MAN
23/10/2007It was a case of third-time lucky for the 45-year-old winner of a recent Afternoon Delight jackpot.
For the punter had already won two jackpots in recent weeks, National Bingo reports.
The first came a month ago and saw him scoop £290, while a subsequent £100 sum had been claimed just five days before he hit the big one.
But the hat trick came with a £17,500 Afternoon Delight prize - leaving him in shock, the winner tells National UK Bingo.
"I couldn't believe it when I realised how much I'd won," he admits.
"I'm going to go out for a drink with the lads to celebrate."
The twice-weekly bingoer hit his full house in 43 calls to claim the national jackpot and a house prize of £57.
His victory came at the Mecca Bingo club in King Square, Oldham, which has previously awarded more than half a million pounds in national jackpots.
