BINGO FAN NO LONGER SKINT
08/11/2007The £45,000 national jackpot was shared between two lucky bingo winners recently, National Bingo reports.
And one of the pair - a 21-year-old student nurse from Grimsby - tells the operating body that she was "skint" prior to the success.
She explains that her boyfriend had to pay for the ticket - and is now to share her £22,500 uk bingo winnings.
"He paid for my ticket because I was skint so we're going to put the money into a joint account," the winner states.
"It will also pay for some Christmas presents," she adds, which could be good news for her friends and family.
The bingo winner comments that she told her nana of the win first, as she is also a fan of the popular game of chance.
Some ten per cent of all women in the UK play bingo, according to National Bingo figures, compared with five per cent of all men.
