EQUAL SHARE FOR BINGO BUDDIES
06/12/2007Since 1987, a Falkirk woman has taken part in the national game and has been a member of the local Gala Bingo club for ten years.
Now her commitment to the game has paid off in the form of a £17,500 UK bingo jackpot win, reports the game's operating body.
But she is honouring her vow to share the prize fund with a friend, who regularly plays bingo alongside the lucky winner.
She tells National Bingo: "I enjoy playing bingo and the Gala is a lovely club.
"The staff are great and everybody is nice and friendly - my family can now expect a wee bit extra for Christmas."
Along with a few extra presents in their stockings, the family members may expect to benefit from a new kitchen and a trip to Benidorm, too.
Previous big names to benefit from the game include Catherine Zeta Jones, whose dad could afford to send her to theatre classes after a UK bingo jackpot win, reports the operating body.
