BINGO LOVERS SEND HOUSE DOTTY
12/12/2007While a big win on the UK bingo jackpot could be enough to send most people dotty, a very different cause is to blame for one Croatian household.
For 52-year-old Goran Tomasic and his wife Karmen, love for a different kind of Bingo drove them to paint their house in a very specific way.
In honour of their pet dalmatian, whose name was Bingo, the couple have decorated the exterior of their house white with black dots - just like their canine companion.
The decision came after Bingo was sadly hit by a car and makes sure none of the residents of Pribislavec can forget him.
"At first we were afraid of what the neighbours would say, but we loved Bingo so much we had to do it," Mr Tomasic explains.
"We wanted everyone to know what he meant to us and for his memory to live on."
UK bingo players looking to turn their game cards as dotty as the Tomasics' house could opt for a special pink-ribbon dabber in support of Breakthrough Breast Cancer.
