UK BINGO WINNER WAS RIGHT
18/12/2007

The UK bingo jackpot of £80,000 was scooped by a 62-year-old Kirkcaldy woman recently, reports National Bingo.

And while she called for the full house as required, her doubting husband thought she must be mistaken.

"My husband thought I must have got confused and called on a line, not the full house," she tells the operating body.

The lucky punter adds that she and her husband "sat there in disbelief" when the total was revealed - which was supplemented as usual by the house prize of £170.

Her victory came at the Carlton Club in the Fife Leisure Park, Dunfermline, where she has been a member since it opened.

More than a quarter of a million pounds in UK bingo jackpots have been secured by members of the club in the past, according to National Bingo figures.
