HOLIDAY PLANS FOR BINGO WINNERS
07/02/2008

With this winter having seen its fair share of rain so far, UK bingo players could be forgiven for heading down to their local bingo hall for some shelter.

But National Bingo reveals that two separate winners of the national jackpot are likely to escape to the sun following their recent success.

The first win came on January 31st as a 46-year-old Sheffield woman claimed nearly £15,000.

She told the game's operating body of her plans to take her partner and two sons "somewhere hot" in order to celebrate.

A second win was recorded on February 2nd - the day the groundhog predicted another six weeks of winter in the annual American Groundhog Day festivities.

That should not concern the 65-year-old Leicester man who scooped a £37,000 UK bingo jackpot however.

He says: "We will definitely be buying a new car and going on holiday."
