CRUISE PLANS FOR BINGO WINNER
13/02/2008A recent £42,000 national bingo jackpot is to be spent on a holiday by the lucky winner, National Bingo reports.
The 66-year-old Hull woman reveals she is to spend her winnings escaping to the sun - and like many bingoers before her, a cruise ship is her chosen mode of transport.
She tells the game's operating body that she was "absolutely thrilled when they announced I had won the national game".
But she adds: "It certainly came as a shock."
While £42,000 might be more than enough for many, there could be little change from the jackpot, as the winner explains she is taking three children and six grandchildren on the cruise with her.
Her husband - who was playing by her side when her numbers came up - is also likely to be joining her.
A Sheffield woman is also planning a holiday following a recent £15,000 success, the UK bingo operating body previously announced.
