14/02/2008For 33-year-old Cindy Geary, a trip to her local bingo hall resulted in the addition of £11,000 to her bank balance.
But the lucky winner is to stick to a promise she had made previously by sharing the money three ways, reports National Bingo.
"You always think something like this happens to somebody else but it really can happen to you," she tells the organisation.
The £11,000 UK bingo jackpot headed her way after she reached a full house in fewer numbers than anyone else in the country.
Ms Geary adds that, while the rest of the club let out a roar as the win was announced, the shock left her in tears.
A fellow UK bingo jackpot winner in Wakefield also tells National Bingo that, following her own win of more than £10,000, her husband was "amazed".
