BINGO WORKER NARROWLY MISSES OUT ON CONTRACT

A bingo worker will have to get back to calling those numbers – after narrowly missing out in a prestigious modelling competition held on Living TV.

Jenilee Harris, a 20 year-old from Kent, was pipped at the post in a contest to land a contract with Models 1, the modelling agency which represents Linda Evangelista and Yasmin Le Bon.

As one of a final shortlist of three, Jenilee was asked to such tests as undergoing a naked shoot with three male models – but, while this may have seemed as good as any bingo winnings, she ultimately fell short of the star prize.

The eventual winner, Geordie Lucy Ratcliffe, described her triumph as "a completely life-changing experience", and now looks forward to commencing work on several advertising campaigns.

So it's back to the bingo hall for Jenilee – and back to the online bingo for those of us who had turned our eyes to the television hoping that she'd secure a notable coup for her industry.
