GALA BINGO WINNER PLANS CAR PURCHASE
18/03/2008One recent jackpot success at the Feltham Gala Bingo venue is likely to see the winner invest in a new set of wheels.
National Bingo reveals that the 65-year-old winner of a recent £11,000 UK bingo jackpot plans to buy a car.
Should she have any money left over from the purchase, her family are next in line to receive their share of the treats.
The lucky punter tells the UK bingo operating body: "I'll be treating the family and will put some of the money towards a new car."
"But I'll decide what happens to the rest once I've got the cheque in my hand," she adds.
Her victory came during one of her thrice-weekly visits to the Feltham Gala Bingo club.
Members of the venue have proved lucky a number of times in recent years, with about £700,000 shared among them since January 2005, according to National Bingo figures.
