UK BINGO FANS SUCCEED IN THE LONG RUN
19/03/2008In order to hit it big, a brace of UK bingo fans have recently had to play the waiting game, it has been revealed.
Two winners of the national UK bingo jackpot have proved beginner's luck is not the only way to strike it lucky on the popular game of chance.
Following ten years of taking part in bingo, a Dunoon mother of five claimed an impressive £66,000.
Meanwhile, a 25-year wait paid off for a Chester woman with a slightly more modest £23,000 prize.
Both came at Mecca Bingo venues, where the Chester winner says she plays up to three times a week.
For the Dunoon bingo enthusiast, however, the chances of recording a win might not have been so great, as she revealed she visits the Mecca Bingo club only a handful of times each month.
Despite this, she has been successful in the past, although her greatest win prior to landing the UK bingo jackpot had been a £350 prize.
