THE PRICE IS RIGHT FOR ONLINE BINGO
20/03/2008Anyone who remembers the classic gameshow The Price is Right might like to try their hand at its online bingo equivalent.
Elements of the international television show are incorporated into the traditional rules of bingo, the website reveals.
This allows UK bingo players the chance to take part in gameshow-style spin-off events, with a Mini Cooper up for grabs.
"Come on down and get ready for bingo like you have never experienced before," Price is Right Bingo urges.
Among the goodies bought by recent winners at Price is Right Bingo are a high-definition television and a computer complete with printer.
The UK bingo operator also provides information about the history of the show, which could jog the memories of those who remember it from their youth.
Presenters such as Leslie Crowther and Bob Warman are remembered, along with more recent hosts such as Bruce Forsyth and Joe Pasquale.
Bingo fans might recognise Joe Pasquale as the current host of Bingo Lotto, a live weekly show on Virgin 1 and Challenge which allows viewers to join in the fun.
