The 67 year-old, who has not been named, is delighted after scooping a £101,000 award at the Gala Club in Wednesbury – becoming the club's sixth big winner this year.

A factory worker prior to her retirement, the pensioner can now look forward to an immediate future of unbridled luxury after completing a full house in just 39 numbers on November 17^th.

She told icWalsall.co.uk: "It will be a great Christmas for all the family.

"I couldn't think why everyone was clapping and cheering at first, then I was just flabbergasted when I realised how much I had won. I couldn't carry on playing, my hands were shaking so much."

Only a few weeks previously, a 66 year-old from Walsall came home with £105,000 after an afternoon bingo.
