BINGO BANDITS BUSTED

Two robbers who robbed a bingo hall of its money in Monterey County, California, have been apprehended by the police.

 

The Oldemeyer Center, which holds a weekly bingo session for as many as 150 people, was targeted by two armed men wearing black hooded jumpers, according to the Monterey Herald.

 

They held a gun to two till attendants, before some of the bingo players managed to call the police.

 

The robbers helped themselves to fistfuls of cash, believed to be in the region of $2,000, before escaping.

 

Now a pair suspected of the crime, who are also associated with a notorious local gang, have been caught and charged with the robbery.
