BINGOER FEELS BLESSED BY WIN
27/02/2008A family on the otherside of the world could be set to profit from a UK bingo win.
Originally from the Phillipines, a 55-year-old woman from Golders Green has scored a sizeable £390,000 on the National Bingo Game's platinum jackpot.
Having been asked not to be named, the player told the bingo operator she is particularly grateful for the win and that at first, thoughts about how she would use her prize to help others kept her awake at night.
Now she claims her UK bingo win will go towards refurbishing a church and assisting her family of nine back in the Asian islands.
She said: "It is a blessing for me and I can help a lot of people."
And as she is engaged to a retired doctor in Bracknell, the bingo win may help her to fund a dream wedding.
Earlier this month, it was revealed that a Didcot woman has received an extra special early 65th birthday present after also winning £390,000 on National Bingo's platinum jackpot.
