PARTY BINGO PLAYERS TO HELP CHARITY
05/03/2008By playing online bingo, gamers could be doing their bit to help charity.
One online bingo site is supporting British Red Cross this month and is inviting players to lend them a hand.
Throughout March, Party Bingo is to make a donation to the international aid charity based on all the party points that its online bingo players manage to collect.
In addition, bingo enthusiasts will also be able to make their own donation to the British Red Cross by clicking on a special link at Party Bingo.
The UK bingo player who has made the biggest donation will also receive a special commemorative certificate from charity, Unluckyforsome.co.uk reports.
Meanwhile, the amount of personal points that players accrue will remain unaffected by the scheme and will still be able to redeem them entirely how they wish.
Following the Boxing Day tsunami of 2004, Party Gaming, Party Bingo's parent company, donated some $100,000 (£50,543) in cash to the British Red Cross.
In February members of Bingos UK were invited to take part in a month's worth of romantic-themed promotions.
