WORLD BINGO RECORD BROKEN
26/03/2008One UK bingo player really cleaned up recently with a record-breaking win on the national game.
The sweep may have proved a break from the norm for the lucky winner, Soraya Lowell, whose day job is more of a night job.
She explains to National Bingo: "I clean offices until 01:30 - and I don't intend to give up my job.
"I like the girls I work with and they have already said to me don't pack it in."
But having scooped £1.2 million on the platinum UK bingo jackpot, she might find it increasingly tempting to quit in the coming weeks.
The night owl adds that she was up until 06:00 the night of the win - celebrating with family and friends.
Her success came at the Club 3000 venue in Coatbridge, which in the past has witnessed UK bingo wins of up to £100,000 on two occasions, according to National Bingo figures.
