DISBELIEF FOR BINGO PARTNER
15/05/2008A recent UK bingo national jackpot winner has revealed her partner's disbelief when told of her victory.
The 37-year-old woman secured a £27,000 sum at the Carlton Club at Fife Leisure Park, reports game operator National Bingo.
But her partner refused to believe she had scooped the UK bingo jackpot and was convinced her win must be smaller.
"He thought I must have just won the house prize," the lucky punter tells National Bingo.
"It still hasn't really sunk in yet so I don't know what I'll do with the money."
A possible use could be to buy gifts for the seven children and ten grandchildren she and her partner have between them.
Children were a feature of another recent UK bingo win, as the recipient told National Bingo.
Following a £15,000 success, the winner revealed that her two children said: "Good on you, mum," when told of the sum.
