CLEANER TO SHARE WIN WITH DAUGHTER
18/06/2008A cleaner from Plymouth intends to share her £69,000 bingo winnings with her daughter, it has been reported.
The 38-year-old told National Bingo that she also plans to make a number of purchases with her cash, including furniture and a set of wheels.
"I wasn't quite sure what was going on at first but my daughter told me how much I had won. I've just started to learn to drive so I can now buy myself a car," she added.
The lucky bingoer won while playing at the Gala Bingo club in Charing Cross on the evening of June 15th.
She has been a member of Gala for around 12 years.
After completing a full house in 43 calls, she took home the national prize of £65,720, the regional jackpot of £3,348 and the house prize of £150.
Elsewhere in the region, National Bingo notes that a gamer from Newton Poppleford recently won more than £693,000 while playing.
