JACKPOTJOY BINGO AWARDS SIX FIGURE SUM
07/10/2008Many online bingo enthusiasts might believe in beginner's luck - but one JackpotJoy Bingo member found fortune on his side recently.
Patrick C claimed the Bingo Gold jackpot as his first week at the UK bingo site neared its end, the website reveals.
And his account balance was boosted as a result to the six-figure sum of £185,942.83.
He told JackpotJoy Bingo: "Me and my wife were playing for the jackpot and so we bought max and then left the computer while we slept."
Patrick adds that he "crossed his fingers" as the maximum permitted number of tickets were left to play through automatically.
He set an alarm so he could go check how their tickets had fared following the big-money online bingo game at 01:30 on October 1st.
After heading to his computer, he was faced with the news that he had won - and a selection of congratulations from fellow members of the UK bingo site.
JackpotJoy Bingo visitors can expect to see the weekly karaoke challenge taking place at its scheduled time of 17:00 BST this afternoon.
