BINGO NIGHT LIVE BREAKS ONLINE BINGO RECORD

ITV has revealed that its Bingo Night Live show succeeded in beating the world record for the largest online bingo game ever held.

Almost 60,000 players took part in its jackpot game on Friday night - enough to secure the approval of Guinness as being the biggest ever.

Everyone who was in on the online bingo game is promised a certificate via email to commemorate the occasion.

But for one player there could be 60,000 other reasons to celebrate, ITV explains, as the golden jackpot was finally claimed.

Michael in Margate was the lucky punter who saw number seven be drawn to complete his card for a £60,000 sum.

He became the jackpot winner after beating the other 59,391 participants in the game to a full house.

ITV tells those wanting to get involved in Bingo Night Live that they can register an account on its website for free within seconds.
