Wink Bingo members are being given the chance to escape the clutches of the credit crunch in the online bingo site's Bye Bye Bills promotion.

Members of the UK bingo site have the chance to get involved in the contest through until the very end of October.

At the witching hour, midnight on Halloween, points scored will be counted up and the top five players entered into a draw for £5,000 towards their household bills.

"Unpaid credit cards causing caterwauling?" asks Wink Bingo.

"Well, prepare to have a weight lifted from your shoulders, as Wink steps in to pay your bills!"

As the summer becomes more of a memory, the site suggests that payout could help to cover the cost of those days of "golden excess".

Points may be scored in the promotion by wagering in online bingo and instant games, as well as by hitting bingo on the B, M and £ patterns.

New registrants at Wink Bingo are promised an extra £15 in credit to help get them started in joining in the site's online bingo games.
