WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP SCHEDULE REVEALED

Next year's Bingo World Championship schedule has been revealed this week.

The event, which will be in its eighth year in 2009, will see 11 online bingo sites take part, allowing players the opportunity to qualify for a chance to win the $10,000 (£6,000) cash prize.

A number of qualifying games are set to take place over the course of the coming months, with winners getting the chance to go through the grand final game, which is scheduled to be held on March 22nd 2009.

The first round of qualifying games is set to run from November 1st to November 30th, with the top five players from each of the participating sites going through to the next round.

Over the course of December and January, two further rounds will take place, giving players more chances to get through to the big event in March.

Sites taking part in the first rounds of the Bingo World Championship include Bingo Empire and Main Street Bingo, as well as a number of others.
