CHRISTMAS CELEBRATIONS FOR UK BINGO PLAYERS
22/12/2008A total of 50 different UK bingo players saw their numbers come up in the Christmas Bingo Bonus this weekend.
National Bingo reports that, on Sunday, the £250,000 pot was split between a half-century of lucky winners.
This equates to a respectable £5,000 each for those who hit it lucky in the seasonally themed event.
But it is not just the chosen few who are wished a merry Christmas by the organisation.
National Bingo expresses its seasons greetings to all UK bingo fans - and wishes them a prosperous new year.
The Christmas Bingo Bonus was held on the evening of Sunday, December 21st.
One venue which took part in the celebrations was the Carlton Bingo club in Whitley Bay.
But local councillors were left red-faced earlier in the month after leaving the venue off of plans for regeneration of the surrounding area.
Due to the mix-up, many of its members feared the club was about to be closed down.
