MALE BINGO SITE SET UP

A new online bingo site aimed at male gaming fans is to be launched.

The site - called Bloke Bingo - has been set up by Danny Pearson, who says that while there are a huge number of bingo sites targeting women, there are no sites looking after male players, reports Bingo News.

He commented that many prizes on offer on female orientated bingo sites were not appealing to a male audience.

"Let’s face it, men are different from women and they don’t want to win spa weekends or the latest rom com," he commented.

Mr Pearson said that estimates from Bloke Bingo show that around a quarter of all online bingo players are male, saying he thought there were a lot of players out there who would like a site which better reflects their needs.

Prizes up for grabs on the new site include Xbox's, Wiis and DVDs.

It would seem that the male trend for bingo stretches beyond the UK.

According to Gaming Alerts, in Spain, men are more likely to play bingo than women.
