By December 30th the buy-in is doubled - but so is the possible prize to be won in the 21:36 GMT game.
And the same applies on New Year's Eve as Gala Bingo has another £1,000 in vouchers to give away at 21:36 GMT in its 10p game.
The website asserts that this represents the "ultimate prize" for anyone who can't resist a bargain.
And with the rate of VAT standing at 15 per cent - a 2.5 percentage point reduction on its former value - those vouchers could stretch even further.
