ANNUAL ONLINE BINGO SUMMIT HELD

This year's annual online bingo summit will focus on issues including gaining new customers and retaining them.

Issues on the agenda include marketing for websites and player analysis.

A "power panel" of big industry names will also be in attendance.

The first summit took place in 2006 and saw 85 online bingo companies meet to talk through matters which affect the sector.

In 2007, the second bingo summit attracted more than double this number of attendees.

Ravi Virpal, director of Bullet Business, said that the summit is a "snap shot" of the condition of the industry at the time.

He commented that the online bingo sector had seen phenomenal growth.

Mr Virpal also said that online bingo as a "consumer product" had worked its way into the national conscience.

The conference is a "pivotal point" for the industry, he suggested, commenting that people within the sector know that the summit brings together leading speakers and individuals.
