BUILDING RELATIONSHIPS IMPORTANT ON ONLINE BINGO SITES

When online bingo fans search for a site to play on, casinos which "allow players to build a relationship with the site" are favoured, it has been claimed.

Phil Fraser, managing director of Which Bingo, said that players were also attracted to online bingo sites if they offered something a bit different.

"Those sorts of things are important to players, rather than a site having lots of players or the biggest jackpot, or being a well known name like the land based brands," he noted.

Feeling part of a community is also important to those who play online bingo.

Mr Fraser said that people often play on websites with friends who they have met in a bingo chatroom game.

He said that this community spirit as well as "interactive experience and enjoyment" was often why smaller sites were successful in Whichbingo.com's Bingo Awards.

The Which Bingo awards recently took place, with gamers given the chance to vote for around 240 sites in a variety of categories.
