SCOTTISH TV LAUNCHES ONLINE BINGO ADS
13/04/2009Scottish Television has launched ads to promote its brand new online bingo service, it has been reported.
The Drum notes that the quirky advertising campaign sees fun-loving bingo fans dancing to "I''m in the Mood for Bingo" - a version of "I''m in the Mood for Dancing", made famous by singing sisters the Nolans.
The advert shows bingo fans attending a gym class, dressed in typical bright gym friendly clothes.
Head of new media at Scottish Television Alistair Brown said the online growth is a priority for the channel this year.
"These creative new ads capture the fun, social aspect of playing bingo online and I hope they will encourage bingo fans from across Scotland to try their luck on bingomood.com," he said.
It has been widely reported that the online bingo sector is set to see growth in 2009, as more people cut back on nights out and instead choose to try their luck with the online bingo world.
