EASTENDERS STAR PROMOTES GALA BINGO
04/06/2009Eastenders star Chris Parker has agreed to promote online bingo website Gala Bingo on its dedicated television channel.
Parker, who portrayed Spencer Moon in the BBC soap opera, will act as a new presenter on Gala TV between 20:00 and 21:00 every Friday in June.
The channel is available via Sky''s satellite television series or Freesat channel 861, as well as on the TV Bingo Club on the Gala Bingo website.
Starting tomorrow (June 5th), Parker''s show will offer players the opportunity to ask him about anything to do with soap operas.
Viewers will also get the chance to ask questions to different guest soap stars each week to learn more about the personalities playing some of the UK''s favourite characters.
Commenting on his new role for Gala, Parker said: "I love bingo and live television so I''m really looking forward to becoming part of the whole Gala TV community and interacting with the players."
He will also host a special edition bingo game each week called Soap Star Bingo, with players able to get involved for just a 20p stake.
