Australian bingo lover Annette S has scooped £3,811 in the Full House Bingo Emerald Room on the website and, understandably, she found it difficult to comprehend her luck.

Speaking after encountering her windfall, she said: "Honestly, I just couldn''t believe it. I''ve had smaller wins before but nothing like this. You don''t think it will happen to you - and then it does."

"My husband was over the moon when I won, but I think he got the wrong end of the stick," added the player, who revealed that "just because the winnings are being paid into his bank account doesn''t mean they''re his for spending".

She said the bounty will be used to fund a trip to visit her family in Australia.

Last month several players on the site walked away with thousands of pounds including, Julia C, who bagged more than £8,500 playing Diamond Bonanza and Rob A, who became the lucky winner of £6,625 on Tycoon Progressive.
