BINGOS UK ANNOUNCES ANTI VALENTINE WEEK
08/02/2010Bingo fans who are not planning to celebrate Valentine''s Day this year are being encouraged to take part in a new competition.
With under a week to go until the lovers'' day arrives, Bingos UK is offering its members the chance to write a story or poem about why they do not like it.
According to the company, the three best entries will be selected and the authors will receive either a £50 cash prize or "something unromantic".
The ''Anti-Valentine''s Week'' initiative comes after Bingos UK ran a scheme linked to the other end of the scale last week, with the aim of celebrating Valentine''s Day early.
Anyone interested in the competition should send their entries to competitions@bingos.co.uk, writing ''Anti-Valentine''s'' in the subject line.
Participants must also provide their username and the choice of whether they would prefer cash or the unromantic prize if their offering is chosen as a winner.
In addition to bingo, Bingos UK runs games such as slots, roulette, pull tabs, blackjack, craps, keno and table poker.
