BINGO JOY IN SCUNTHORPE
29/10/2008Over the course of the past week, bingo players in Scunthorpe have won a number of large prizes.
One prize was in excess of £190,000 - and this was won by just one lucky individual. Meanwhile, a further £185,188 has been shared by a total of 74 different players, Bingo Hideout notes.
The prizes were won as part of the Gala Bingo national game, which was played in a number of different games halls up and down the country.
Even though Gala Bingo has withdrawn from the National Game across different operators, the prizes can still be in six figures.
And such prizes may make trips out in the cold autumnal evenings seem worthwhile, the news provider claims, adding that land-based bingo is the ancestor of online bingo and should not be forgotten.
Gala Bingo notes that around £80 million is won each and every month across its halls and website.
