One bingo winner has revealed a holiday is likely to be the first major expense after securing £20,000 on the national game.
Game operating body National Bingo reports that a vacation is considered "a priority" by the 51-year-old Wokingham man.
He tells the organisation of the support he received from his fellow players when it was revealed that he had won the UK bingo jackpot of £20,000.
"There was a great atmosphere when they announced I had won the national game with everyone in the club clapping and congratulating me," he asserts.
"I am very pleased to have won so much," he adds.
The victory came after he completed his card in the fewest calls nationwide and, while he has been a member of the Gala Bingo member for five years, his bingo career began long before that.
More than £300,000 - including two £100,000 UK bingo jackpots - has already been won by Gala Bingo members in Wokingham.
