UK BINGO WINNER LEFT NUMB
11/08/2008While many people might experience a rush of emotions following a win on the UK bingo national jackpot game, one player had quite the opposite experience recently, it has emerged.
The Gala Bingo member from Worcester was playing at her local club when her numbers came up in 45 calls, reports National Bingo.
As a result, she scooped a quarter share of the UK bingo jackpot which stood at more than £67,000.
Combined with the regional and house prizes, this took her total earnings from the game to more than £20,000.
She tells the UK bingo operating authority: "I was a bit numb when I realised how much I'd won.
"My sister was more excited than I was! When I told my husband he was very pleased."
Her victory is not the first for Worcester Gala Bingo members, as National Bingo figures indicate that the link game jackpot has headed that way at least three times in the past.
