While many Britons may be concerned about their monthly mortgage costs, one UK bingo player has just been made worry-free.
National Bingo reports the tale of an unnamed 58-year-old who just scooped £410,000 on the national game.
The punter explains that his mortgage is to be the first expense as he looks to become debt-free.
"This will really change my life and make things so much easier for me and my family," he tells the UK bingo operator.
"It is a great feeling and a big relief not to have to pay the mortgage each month."
National Bingo adds that the Upper Norwood courier driver is one of the people for whom the current turbulence in the financial markets need not be seen as a bad thing.
A hospital porter who won the jackpot in January also told the operating body of his plans to clear his mortgage, saying it would be "great" to be free of the debt.
