GLOBE TROTTER WINS AT BINGO

A bingo win was well timed for one globe-trotting fan of the game recently, it has emerged.

Completing a full house in 45 calls proved enough for one bingoer to claim a share of the UK bingo jackpot, reports National Bingo.

The win was a timely one, with the £17,000 sum solving a slight funding crisis, as the player tells the game's operating body.

She explains that at least some of the money is to go towards the cost of a round-the-world holiday with her friends.

"I had already booked and paid my deposit but I was wondering how I was going to pay the rest," the lucky bingoer tells National Bingo.

"Now it's not a problem - I'm very pleased," she informs the operating body for UK bingo.

A Colchester player recently told the organisation of his shock after scooping a £39,000 national bingo jackpot at his local Gala Bingo club.
