A recent winner at the Birkenhead Mecca Bingo club has revealed plans to sail into the sunset with her UK bingo jackpot.
Sheila Stanley, a 70-year-old Ellesmere Port resident, had already booked a cruise to celebrate her golden wedding anniversary, reports National Bingo.
The UK bingo operating body hears from the winner that she is now to use the £19,000 earnings from the national game to cover the cost of the getaway.
Ms Stanley tells National Bingo: "I was happy with the house prize and didn't think I could have won the National on 45 numbers.
"When I realised, I was surprised - pleasantly surprised."
Her pleasure came despite having to share the jackpot with three other players across the country.
Also sharing in the £67,880 pot were two sisters in Worcester, who revealed to National Bingo their plans to divide their stake in the prize money equally between them.
