Yesterday we wrote about ITVs recent partnership with PartyBingo yesterday, a little more research into the area has shown that this is not the first Bingo deal for ITV Bingo. Previously ITv launched four games with another partner Jackpotjoy; these games included I am a Celebrity Bingo in other words bingo based around the I am a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here franchise, Coronation Street Bingo, Emmerdale Bingo and ITV Bingo, all these games offered players the chance to play and win up to £30,000. At the time of the deal ITV claimed there was a strong demographic fit and entertainment association between bingo and its programming. The games were promoted across ITV.com as well as the micro-sites dedicated to Coronation Street, Emmerdale and I’m a Celebrity, using editorial, banners and micro-games.
All these ITV Bingo games were designed and powered by jackpotjoy.com, and incorporated the network’s 650,000 players. ITV players joined JackpotJoys partners Wanadoo (now Orange Bingo), ICP Media and GMTVBingo.
Michael Braga, representing jackpotjoy.com said: “We are seeing more and more “old” media brands approaching a “new” media brand such as jackpotjoy.com, looking for partnerships that offer benefits to both business and audience.”
