Myspace and FaceBook Bingo Generation

We at onlinebingo.co.uk believe the recent rise in popularity for bingo is due to a desire for more community focused and interactive experiences online with the advent of sites like Facebook and Myspace users are actively seeking new ways of interacting online and bingo is the original community concept.

This view is backed up by reserach from BingoPort a UK information site focusing on UK bingo is  reporting online bingo traffic data shows an increase of 19% in the number of daily players taking part in online bingo games.

The increase is based on the number of players using online bingo since September. Scott Logan, claims online bingo operators such as Foxy Bingo, Ladbrokes Bingo and 888 Ladies Bingo are taking the opportunity to "aggressively using media to acquire players in order to gain a foothold in the growing marketplace."  This has nothing to do with the recent gaming legislation however as Bingo has always been allowed to advertise on TV even before the new rules.
